Adam Sandoval and his Chihuahua "Scooter" have chosen to invest a year of their lives to help others. Please know that the success of their ride depends on a mix of corporate sponsorship donations and personal donations from people like you–people who care about helping us further our cause on behalf of those who need it most; the families of fallen veterans.
Adam and Scooter will visit Hampton Roads Harley-Davidson on Saturday, October 17 at 3 p.m. We want to have 500 people or more there to greet him and we want to be the dealership that raises the most money for his cause: the American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund.
Fallen soldiers pay the ultimate price. But their families must do something equally heroic...going on without them. Wives, husbands and children of fallen veterans must live with a huge void in their lives and the challenges and adjustments are vast and varied. Financial hardship, foreclosure and homelessness are commonplace. It is these people—still fighting and often losing that fight—for whom we ride. We thank you for anything you can do.
Current service members and vets from all branches of the military are invited to come out and support the cause. This ride doesn't happen without donations from us all.
