"This whole experience has been awesome. Owning a Harley has been a dream of mine for forty years. Southside made it a reality. From walking into the showroom and finding the exact bike I built on the website, to the VIP treatment after closing. I wanted to stay longer, but I was getting a little emotional. So much love and understanding from everyone, even other riders from the HOG meeting with kind words to say. I am very pleased to have chosen Southside Harley Davidson for my first Bike purchase. "I walked in expecting to get the same kind of customer service I got at another dealership in the area Im not going to say the name but it is the same as a periodical but that was definately not the case. I spoke to Steve for a while about what I was looking for and what my price range was and he took the time to walk me through the diferent bikes in my range even after I told him I was not ready to buy he kept assisting me in my choice. He even walked my mother through different bikes and answered her hillarious questions like where do you keep the spare tire. Would like to say that the Service Department at Harley-Davidson of Hampton Roads are great. Called them up in regards to bringing in my bike which the time was close to closing time. They waited as if a teacher looking for that last student to arrive to class before the bell rings. The next morning they call to inform me that my bike was ready to go. And it is just that ready to go. The Service Technicians definitely performed a quality job. Would like to say thanks again to the Service Department.
Thanks goes out to the sales/finance department as well for suggesting the life time maintenance warranty. It is worth every penny. Plus, with a service team as mentioned above you feel this offer is a signature of approval that Harley-Davidson of Hampton Roads is a total shop which cares about their customers."

"Biggest mistake I made when I purchased my bike was not getting it from Southside. Won't mention the other dealership but worst experience ever. Southside is the only place I will go for anything needed for my ride and that is to include any future bike purchase. Can't say enough about the staff and the commitment they have for the customer. "The long Thanksgiving weekend found us mini-vacationing in the area and stopped by Southside H/D on 'black friday' afternoon for a look-see. In comparison to the massive mega bike dealerships we're accustomed to here in Florida, the store was rather small, BUT that was instantly forgotten with great selection and excellent service. Between Taylor's lasting bubbly enthusiasm, matched by her mildly-flirtatious, moderately tattooed pin-up girl persona, all gift-wrapped with an ultra-cool and alluring voice, Joe's expert advice on custom derby covers and quick release saddle bags, I was impressed.
A 13 to 14 hour drive from here to there seems more reasonable now than ever.
Many of these dealerships down here (not counting Peterson's H/D of Miami) could stand to send some of their chuckle-heads up there to see how a dealership is run.

"I have been riding longer than most folks have been walking. Until recently I have done all of my own repairs and maintenance.
I was looking for some parts and did not want to wait on the mail, I walked in to Southside Harley and had a look around after talking to a few of there friendly employees, I happened upon ZEUS. I thought what the hell kind of name is that. After talking to this cat for a few I had the parts I needed and still hand my eye balls in tact "The price was Fair".
As fate would have it I needed parts a few more times and every time no matter what the folks at Southside have been nothing but polite and courteous. I know I keep harping on that. There goal seems to be to build long term customers rather than quick and dirty sales. That is how it should be.

"I caught the Harley bug from a good friend. I went to another local dealership first to look around and didn't get a feeling of belonging. I decided to take a ride to HRHD and found my new home. The sales department, specifically Stewart, went out of their way to find the bike I wanted without pressuring me into something I wouldn't be happy with. This is why I came back 2 months later and bought a second bike from Stewart. He knew I wanted a bike and he knew I would get it when I was ready... little did I know it would be less than 2 weeks from walking into Hampton Roads Harley. "My wife and I stopped in to Southside on a lark just to see what the had in stock, as I had been shopping online for some time. What first caught our attention was a used black and white Deluxe. We did some more browsing and found a very clean 2005 Road King Classic with very low miles. Jarad, our salesman, was very patient and helpful during the entire process. I felt he and the entire team had custom service as their highest priority. The girls in finance worked hard over a 2 day period to find us the best possible deal to finance the bike, parts, warranty and motorclothes and reviewed all of the available options to us in detail. The parts desk quickly found the right seat for the bike and the Vance and Hines slip on that creates the deep and low trademark Harley sound. The girls in motorclothes had what we needed, and I was surprised the prices were lower than I expected - not cheap, but not overly inflated, and then discounts were applied which made it even better! The service team had the parts on faster than what I expected and took the time to go over the bike in detail at delivery. The entire experience was very different than buying a car from a dealership. Much more personable. Very much a team effort centered around the sale of the bike. We'll see you the Road!
